Our history

Sepidan began work in 2011, built on website design. As the digital world expanded we took our first big step into online stores and became one of the pioneers of e-commerce design in Iran. We then went beyond supporting off-the-shelf software and wrote our own content management system (Sepidan CMS). Our design work moved in step with the technology of the day, from older fixed layouts to responsive and flat design. When the smartphone era arrived we added mobile app development for Android and iOS, and our team went on to complete international digital marketing programmes so that services such as search engine optimisation (SEO) and email marketing infrastructure could sit alongside web design. Today, analysing user behaviour and personalising the user experience with artificial intelligence is the newest chapter of that road.

Where the name comes from

Sepidan recalls the colour white — sepid — a symbol of purity, and it is also the name of a snowy town in Fars province that lies under snow for most of the year and, through that snow, becomes a source of abundance for the towns around it. Those two meanings are what we try to reflect in our relationships with our clients: clarity, and something that lasts.
